Share Your Campaign on Social Media with #Grow2022

Social media is a fantastic way to connect to your network and increase visibility to your campaign. Use the hashtag #Grow2022 and your post will automatically pop-up within your fundraising page here if you have linked your account!

Send Emails and Texts

We can help you prepare emails to send out throughout the campaign for you to optimize and share out to your friends and family! Please contact jparsons@citysprouts.org for additional information. Adding personal touches such as photos of you sharing a sprout or anecdotes about your experiences at CitySprouts go a long way to engage your audience.

Start a Facebook Fundraiser

Take advantage of your social media network by launching virtual or in-person fundraising events! An amazing way to raise money is to tie in fundraising with celebrations or competitions. Fundraise at your upcoming birthday party or even host a bake-off with friends to add a gamification factor to your campaign.

Donate to Yourself

Donating to your own campaign can get the party started and encourage others to join you. Be a leader in your own campaign and display your dedication by taking this first step.

Be Direct

In order to successfully meet your goals, make sure that you are direct. It takes, on average, three asks for a donation to be made.  The #1 reason people do not donate is that they were never asked to.

Ask for Corporate Matches

Reaching out to your own or friend's company's HR department to inquire about their corporate matching policies can go a long way in generating funding for your campaign. This is a great way to double your impact on our overall campaign.

Say Thank You!

Don't forget to thank your supporters! Sending a quick text, writing an email, or even sending out a hand-written thank-you card is critical for acknowledging the impact your donors are having. Refer to your thank-you templates for ideas on how to show your gratitude.
