Social Media Fundraising Tips

Social media is a FANTASTIC way to get the word out that your are fundraising for Global Village Project through participating in our Welcome Walk! We strongly encourage you to use it as part of your plan to promote your personal fundraising page. ​

First things first, find your personal fundraising URL link. It will look something like this https://p2p.onecause.com/gvpwalk/luisa-martins

3 Easy Ways to Use Your Social Media to Reach Your Goal:

1) Be consistent:  Post 3-5 times per week and on your stories every day (be sure to link your personal fundraising page to your stories and on your social media bio.)


2) Thank Your Donors Publicly: Each time you get a donation, thank you donors publicly on social media by tagging them. This not only makes your donors feel appreciated, but it reminds your followers to donate to your Walk page while creating energy for your followers. 


3) Share Your Fundraising Link: Create a post/story/reel/tweet and share the link to your personal fundraising page on the post. This will direct all your donors to your personal fundraising page where they will make their donation through the Welcome Walk website.
