How does K's for Kids work?
Participants will have the option to pledge a per GWU strikeout amount or a one time donation. Donors who pledge based on strikeouts will also receive the opportunity to guess the number of strikeouts made by the GWU baseball team during the regular season. The donor that comes the closest to the actual number of GWU strikeouts wins a prize!
How do I donate?
Make a pledge of 25 cents or more for every strikeout made by GWU during the regular baseball season. If 350 strikeouts are made during the 2021 season, here are the totals for the possible pledge amounts (please see the chart below for Davidson's last 3 seasons of strikeouts):
- 25 cents pledge = $87.50
- 50 cents pledge = $175.00
- 75 cents pledge = $262.5
- $1.00 pledge = $350

How do I make a payment for my donation?
Upon completion of the season, you will receive an invoice from Dream On 3 with instruction on how your donation can be paid online with a credit card or by check.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, all donations are tax deductible. When completing payment online, donors will receive an automatic email with a donation confirmation & receipt that can be used for tax purposes. Mailed donations will receive an emailed receipt after payment has been received and processed.
