The 2022 Habitat 500 celebrates the 30-year history of the Habitat 500 Bike Ride while participants bike in their own communities and gathers for three days of cycling in July. In 2022, we again invite participants to cycle any time between registering and September, for as many miles as they would like! Each rider pays a registration fee and also raises funds from family, friends, businesses, and church groups and designates the Habitat for Humanity affiliates they wish to support (both locally and around the world). 

From July 14 - 17, hybrid riders will gather in Fergus Falls, MN, for a build day and three days of cycling.

In a survey of Habitat homeowners in Minnesota, 92% said their lives were better since moving into their home.

Education: Over half of homeowners with children said their children's grades improved after moving into their Habitat home. Nearly two-thirds said their study habitats improved.

Every year in Minnesota over 30,000 individuals contribute their time, effort, and skills to building or repairing hundreds of Habitat homes.

More than 2,700 Habitat homes have been built in Minnesota.​

Habitat Minnesota was created in 1997 initially as a financial intermediary, providing centralized distribution of capital to affiliates. Today, Habitat Minnesota offers a range of programs, including resource development, advocacy, training, and networking.
