I’m participating in the 30th Annual Habitat 500 Bike Ride this year to support Habitat for Humanity. This will be my 9th ride, and my daughter Cianaleigh's first official ride!  Would you be willing to support us as we raise money and awareness for HFH and their mission?

My fundraising letter:

Well, it’s that time!  Time for my shameful plug and ask for your donations to Habitat for Humanity, once again.  

First, thank you so much for your past support of my ride.  With your help I have been able to help raise over $20,000 over the last 8 years.  All of that money went directly towards helping build 8 different families a home.  From the bottom, top & middle of my heart, I thank you!  

Second, would you consider continuing to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity by donating to my ride again this year?  

The Habitat 500 ride is back in-person this year!  We will be up in Fergus Falls in mid-July (yes, it’s coming up fast and I have procrastinated to get these letters out - my apologies!).  This year will only involve a 3-day ride, and will be the last ride to be coordinated by Habitat of Minnesota - but hopefully not the last ever bike ride in support of Habitat affiliates around the state, country and world.

This year I am excited to have my daughter Cianaleigh join me for the ride too!  (But don’t worry, she won’t be biking all those miles with me….maybe just a few slower ones on trail.)  ☺ She and my parents will get to experience the ride with me this year, and I am definitely looking forward to sharing my biking family with my actual family!

My goal this year is to raise $5,000 and to bike 500 miles.  Would you be willing to donate to my fundraising goal?  Any amount would be very much appreciated.  Perhaps you can be part of my 1% club and donate $50?  Will you be one of the 100 donors I need to donate $50 so we can help build a home for a low-income family in Central MN?  If not, please donate what you are able - although it’s cliche, every penny really does help!
