Sustaining a stroke or brain injury can be a difficult, lonely, unpleasant experience that lasts much longer than anyone thinks it should or wishes it would. Further, one person may “get the diagnosis” but an injury is more of a family affair, impacting spouses, children, parents… the whole family.

For many years, the Brain Injury Association has found that support groups provide an opportunity for individuals to share strategies and information along the journey of recovery.

There is a saying in the brain injury community about brain injury that ... “you don't really get it, until YOU get it.”

We hope to see you at the listed Virtual Support Group for Brain Injury Survivors, Family, and friends Meetings, individuals are invited to attend all!

Participation is through online using your computer, tablet, smartphone or telephone.
