How to fundraise for the Heritage Hero Run + Stroll + Roll?

Register & Get Started

  • Sign up as an individual or start a team. Having a Team Captain makes coordination easier!

Personalize & Share Your Fundraising Page  

  • Log in, upload a photo, and share your story—personalized pages raise more!
  • Create a Facebook Fundraiser for even more impact.
  • Steps to customize your page:
  1. Click “Edit My Page” from your dashboard.
  2. Update the “Story” or “Why I Fundraise” section with your personal message.
  3. Add photos or videos to engage supporters.
  4. Click “Save” to finalize.

Tip: A heartfelt story inspires more donations!

Raise Funds & Spread the Word

  • Share via email, text, or social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Every share makes a difference!

Reach Your Goal

  • Default fundraising goals: $200 for individuals, $500 for and teams (modifiable in your dashboard)
  • Update your goal:
  1. Click “Edit My Page”
  2. Locate the “Fundraising Goal” section
  3. Enter your new goal amount
  4. Click “Save”

Tip: Set an ambitious yet achievable goal. Once you hit it, consider increasing it!

Team Captain Guide

Start a Team

  • Click “Register,” then “Start a Team,” or go to “Manage My Page” and select “Form a New Team”. Don’t forget to give your team a name and set a goal!

Grow Your Team

  • Invite friends and family to join your team when they register.

Encourage Fundraising

  • Motivate teammates to raise at least $15 each – offer prizes or just plain bragging rights!
  • Keep your team up to date by directly emailing them from your page.

Say Thank You

  • Thank teammates and donors directly from your page.
  1. Go to “Manage My Page”.
  2. Click on “Ask for Donations and Thank Donors”
  3. Send thank-you messages via email, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.

Quick Fundraising Ideas

WHY IS THE "DONATE TO A FUNDRAISER" SEARCH NOT FINDING SOMEONE THAT I KNOW HAS REGISTERED?

You must type in the first name or last name of the participant exactly how they entered it when they registered. Try using just the first few letters of someone's name if you're not sure how it's spelled. If you have a problem locating a bowler that you are sure has registered, please contact us.

ALL OF MY DONORS ARE NOT SHOWING UP ON THE SCROLL MECHANISM. WHY?

Some donors prefer to keep their gifts anonymous. When someone donates, they can choose if they would like to have their name, donation amount, and/or a message appear on your personal page.

IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?

Yes. OneCause has made every effort to protect your information. We use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.
