About Hayday for Horses 2026
Thank you for supporting We Can Ride's mission to connect humans and horses to transform the lives of people with disabilities and meet the evolving needs of the greater community.

We are excited to invite you to our annual Hayday for Horses campaign. We Can Ride's horses (and mule) dedicate their lives to serving individuals with special needs and disabilities in the greater metro area. since 1982 (that's 44 years!) they have met the needs of more than 6,000 families. To do that, they receive the highest quality care. We need your help to ensure that we can continue to make that promise to our horses.
How to Participate:
Step One: Choose a horse!
Step Two: Use the Donate button to boost your horse up the leader board, or use the Join Team button to increase your impact by spreading to word to family and friends. ***You can donate to multiple horses, but you can only join one team.
Don't worry, it's easy! The platform will guide you through the process.

Each year, with your help, we highlight a special equine to be Horse of the Year. Last year, Klara accepted the victor's tiara, which went fabulously with her stunning head of hair.
Who will it be this year? Will Mitch prove that at 19 hands he is a head above the rest? Will the mule "run away" with it? Or will Gio prove that his personal flair is unmatchable?
Browse the bios and cast your vote. Be sure to follow along on social media to stay up to date on the standings. There might even be a few shenanigans along the way!
