HIKE for HOPE 2022

THANK YOU to all of our Participants, Sponsors, Donors and Volunteers who joined for our 23rd annual HIKE for HOPE 5K WALK/RUN on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at The Park in Andover and made it such a success. This fun, community-focused event brought all of us together to raise critical funds for Lazarus House to continue to meet the needs of the increasing number of Guests who find themselves without meals to eat and food to put on the table for their families.

It is not too late to DONATE! We are accepting donations through October 31, 2022.

Hike for Hope Schedule of Events

5K Walk/Run
On Sunday, September 25, 2022, join us for the HIKE for HOPE 5K Walk/Run at The Park in Andover or virtually. Become a walker and fundraiser for Lazarus House to help us meet the increasing need for warm, nutritious meals at our Soup Kitchen and supplemental groceries from our Food Pantry.

• 11:30 AM - Registration/Check-in begins
• 1:00 PM - Hike for Hope 5K Walk/Run kicks off
• All registered participants receive a HIKE for HOPE T-shirt
• Kids activities - Face Painting, Temporary Tattoos, Ballon Twisting, Games and more
• Music, Cider Donuts and Pizza
• Food Drive from 10 AM to 2 PM in front of the Andover Town Hall Driveway
• Dog-friendly event

Food Drive
Collect and drop off non-perishable items to at our Food Drive on Sunday, September 25th between 10AM and 2PM. Our truck will be in the circle driveway in front of Andover Town Hall. Or simply donate $25 towards filling our shelves at the Food Pantry. The non-perishable items we are collecting are canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soup, canned tuna/chicken, canned tomato sauce, pasta, rice, macaroni & cheese, and plastic jars of peanut butter.

How does it work? It's Easy, Just Follow These Steps!

Participate in our 5K Walk/Run and Food Drive on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

1) Register and Join a Team! Friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, partners, anyone can join your team. Registration is $30. Register and all participants will receive a HIKE for HOPE 2022 T-Shirt at the event. Click here to Register

2) Once you register, a fundraising page is created for you with built-in tools to fundraise via social media, email or text. Through your fundraising page, you will be able to reach out to your network to help you reach your personal fundraising goal. Before you know it, you will be a fundraising rock star!

3) Get Social with us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Post photos, videos, and tag @lazarushouseministries, #HikeforHope2022 and get your friends and family involved.

4) Special prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals and the top team who raise the most funds.
