About Family Promise Hike for Hope: Home Edition

Lace up your sneakers and step into spring, it's time for the Family Promise Hike for Hope!

Support homeless working families and their children by embarking on your very own "hike from home"! Grab your friends from work, club, or community group and complete a three-mile trek any time from now until 6 PM on Sunday, May 1. Take a stroll through your neighborhood, explore a new hiking trail, or hop on a treadmill--it doesn't matter where you walk, as long as you get your steps in.

While our Hike for Hope will be remote, please join us for our Party in the Parking Lot on Saturday, April 30 at our Ridgewood location to celebrate funds raised and families helped! The party will feature music, games, snacks, contests, and more.

By being a part of our Hike for Hope, you will support Family Promise of Bergen County’s mission to empower working families who are homeless to become permanently self-sufficient. Funds raised will benefit our shelter and support programs, which include financial education, job training, educational advancement, childcare, and more.
