Frequently Asked Questions

Do students need to fill out a health assessment the day of the event? 
Yes. Please bring your filled out health assessments when you check in at registration. 


Are virtual students welcome and can they run with their assigned cohorts?
Yes. Remote students are invited to run with their assigned cohort.


Is there a rain date?
If the Student Fund Color Run needs to be postponed due to rain, it will be moved to Spring 2021.


Is there a dress code?
Please dress warmly in clothes that your child can get messy. Students, staff and parents will need to wear masks at all times.


Where should I park? 
Please park in the lower Summit lot with overflow in the lower 40 (Right side of the driveway in the field). 


What is my child's cohort start time?
A schedule of cohort run times is located under the registration page. Contact Tiana at tiana.johnson@thesummitschool.org for any questions regarding race times. 


How do we fundraise? 
Students will be able to set up a fundraising page when they register. Students may also bring any funds raised on race day to registration in an envelope with the students name on the front. 


Bathroom Access? 
Students and families may use the Student Activity Center restrooms (auditorium). 


Are parents allowed to attend?
Yes, parents are encouraged to come and cheer their student on; however, we ask that parents wear a mask at all times and socially distance along the sidelines of the course. Parents may also bring chairs. 


Do you need volunteers the day of the event?  
YES! This event will only be successful with volunteer support of our parents. Parents may volunteer through SignUp Genius https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0449aba728abf85-student or may contact Student Fund Chair, Regina Tucker at regina_65@hotmail.com.
