Holidays with Heart

Each year, every child at Erie House creates a holiday wish list, and supporters help fulfill those wishes by making donations or sponsoring a child directly. Last year, we distributed more than 600 gifts to children and youth. This year, we expect the need to be even greater.

Not every child is matched with a sponsor, which is where you can make a difference. Your monetary donation ensures we can purchase gifts for those without sponsors, allowing every child to experience the joy of the holiday season.

An essential part of Holidays with Heart is our Winter Clothing Drive. We are collecting coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and socks for children, youth, and adults to help keep them warm through the long winter months.

You can support by donating items directly from our Amazon Wishlist. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase winter essentials based on need.

This year, Erie Neighborhood House is expanding our Holidays with Heart program to include Holiday Meal Kits for families who have been affected by the recent events in our community.

Your support will help us:

• Provide complete Thanksgiving and Christmas meal kits 

• Ensure families facing hardship have access to fresh, culturally relevant food during the holiday season.

• Respond quickly and flexibly to the growing number of families needing support.

We are accepting monetary donations so our team can purchase the necessary groceries and assemble meal kits that meet specific needs.
