Please Join Us in Honoring our Heroes

Help us Recognize those who are Making a Difference

As this year's Passion for Caring Gala Chairs, we are honored to leverage this annual event help raise awareness of the heroic acts taking place every day to help move our community forward. From delivering goods that are desperately needed to caring for patients, or mobilizing others to advance social justice, these acts are having a tremendous impact and inspiring others. We hope that you will share these inspiring stories by nominating a hero or heroes today.

The 2020 Passion for Caring Gala: Honoring the Heroes Among Us will be a virtual event that recognizes local healthcare, community, and social justice heroes, nominated by members of the community, who have made a significant impact during the COVID-19 crisis or through their fight for racial equity. The Gala campaign will recognize heroes from three categories – healthcare, community (delivery personnel, grocery workers, etc.), and social justice (advocate, community leader, etc.).

The nominations will culminate on the virtual Gala at 7 p.m. on October 3, with a presentation of the  Passion for Caring Award to a winner from each category. Throughout the Gala weekend, community members will be able to support Capital Caring Health’s COVID-19 recovery efforts by participating in an online auction and pledge drive. Participants will also have the opportunity to view a special Gala video program that will feature messages from the President and CEO, Gala Chairs, Passion for Caring Award Recipients, and other special guests.

The virtual Gala is FREE and open to the public. With your help, we can ensure care continues for the most vulnerable members of our community. To view the Gala program on October 3 or place a bid in the auction, click here
