A NIGHT IN THE COLD: On Friday, December 6th participants will brave the elements by sleeping outside for one night. Where and how you sleep is up to you! You can sleep in places like a tent, sleeping bag, or your car, some of the ways our street homeless do when they are without shelter. Others may opt for their porch, garage floor, or church/school parking lot. You can participate alone or in groups. It’s open to everyone of all ages - families, individuals, faith and school groups, sports teams, the scouts, and businesses!
THE CAUSE: 100% of the proceeds will go towards our shelter programs and provide a warm and safe place for homeless families to rebuild their lives this winter.
Join a team or participate on your own! Go to the Get Started tab above to register and kick off your fundraising. The $35 fee will go towards your fundraising goal.
Once you register, a fundraising page is created for you with built-in tools to make it easy to fundraise. Aim high! 100% of the proceeds go to our homeless families in need.

We all deserve the basic needs of shelter, especially during these colder months. By supporting A Night in the Cold, you are supporting the hundreds of homeless in our community and letting them know they are not alone.
Many of the participants shared that it was hard to get comfortable and stay warm, which made for a difficult night's sleep. They woke up feeling tired and uncomfortable. Although they didn't feel great physically, they were moved by the experience. They knew they could shower, get a meal, and some proper rest. What does a street homeless person do? What if they have to go to work? It was humbling for them to think about and gain a new perspective and appreciation for their struggles.
Your support and advocacy will make a difference!
