How It Works
Once you have created an account and are logged in, you will be directed to your user dashboard where you can set up and manage your page, complete challenges, invite friends to join and earn points. The first time you log in, you can view a quick tutorial to learn about how your page works.
Each week we will issue a new challenge to care for caregivers and yourself. Take a sneek peak and browse all of our events here. You will have a week to complete each challenge, but if you love it – feel free to build it into your daily or weekly routines!
Accept a Challenge
Are you up for the Challenge? Make sure to click "Accept the Challenge" for each of the challenges and come back to the ICARE site each week. (Don’t worry, we will be emailing reminders and posting on Facebook to help)
Complete a Challenge
Each challenge you complete not only gives love to others and yourself, but you will also earn points towards the leader board.
If you are posting via social media, please remember to link your social accounts to your I Care account. By using the hashtag #NationalFamilyCaregiversMonth with your linked accounts, you will earn bonus points!
Missed a few daily challenge posts on our homepage? No problem! At the top of the website under "Get Started," click "Browse Challenges." On this page you will find any active challenges that you can still complete to earn points.
Points & Prizes
There are so many ways to gain points . The I CARE virtual challenge is a way to support and encourage caregivers, practice and promote self-care, and raise money for caregivers. You can earn points for any of the following:
Earning points and competing on the leader board is open throughout November, so keep fundraising, participating in challenges, recruiting friends and engaging on social media. At the end of the I CARE virtual challenge, if you are the top participant or team on the leader board you will win a prize (details to be announced).
