OUR STORIES MATTER

David Kemp is a retired 88 year young, Veteran and SilverSneakers member since 2008 at what was then the Pike Y. When Covid-19 hit in 2020, he was skeptical in coming back to the Y. When he did come back after being fully vaccinated, he mentioned to the Executive Director he wanted to support our youth again in attending camp. A couple weeks later, Mr. Kemp handed her a donation, saying, “I want to support more kids in experiencing Camp this summer.” You are never too young or too old to make a difference in people’s lives.
