Jennifer's Impact

From student Olivia:

"My heart breaks to hear of the passing of Jennifer Nicholson. Mrs. Nicholson inspired my love for music and the performing arts when I had her in elementary school. My fondest memories include our “composer of the week” about John Williams and writing class songs! Her teaching and dedication to us as students inspired me to become a teacher and my involvement in every performing art I have been a part of. My goal for as long as I can remember was to impact a student just a fraction as much as she impacted me. I will continue to pursue that goal as long as I teach ❤️"

From student Alex:

"I didn’t know Mrs. Nicholson would end up being my favorite teacher when I first showed up to her class. All I knew is that I loved music and was excited to be a part of the “Singers” program. It wasn’t just that she was so much fun, she had a remarkable ability to connect with each and everyone of us personally. I was not the best student academically BUT when I came to her class, she made me feel like a million bucks. She helped shape me into the guy I am today, when I felt embarrassed or uncool, she was my pride and stuck tiny pieces of happiness inside my heart when I didn’t even know I needed it. It was so awesome when she believed in me and wanted to see me showcase my talents. I never told her this but Senior year at Noblesville was my finest year in ALL my years of being in school, period. It was the pinnacle of all my hardships and struggles manifested in the form of a triumphant hallmark experience and SHE was a major reason why. The news of her passing hurts my heart and was devastating to hear. Mrs Nicholson, thank you so much for being my teacher and such a blessing in my life. I love you and you will certainly be missed."
