About St. Anthony Family Shelter

St. Anthony Family Shelter is the only Wichita-area shelter designed specifically for families with children who are experiencing homelessness. Last year, St. Anthony Family Shelter provided a safe haven to 181 adults and 283 children while they took steps to get back on their feet and into permanent housing.

St. Anthony provides families with their own private room, basic needs items, assistance and support so they may gain stable housing, receive assistance with employment, and education on financial literacy, parenting and other life skills. The goal is for families to move out of shelter into housing which they can afford and sustain for a long period of time.
