About Calling All Superheroes Jog-a-Thon

The Madeleine Jog-A-Thon is one of our PRIMARY FUNDRAISERS for the year. Funds raised at the Madeleine Jog-a-Thon will be used to update and repair the basketball and volleyball courts.  Additional funds raised will be used for continuous updates towards technology.  Please remember that all donations to the Jog-A-Thon are counted at 50% towards your PSA commitment! School of the Madeleine is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

Important Information for Registrants

  • Minimum donation of $30 per student for a t-shirt, prepackaged snack, and water bottle.
  • For all parents who are ordering shirts please include shirt sizes for all participating (name and grade). You will be prompted at payment. 
  • Upon completion of registration the parent will create a family page that will house each child's individual contribution page. Family and friends will be able to donate to each jogger.

Prizes: (Please note that prizes are based on PER CHILD donations)

  • Donations of $100  – You will receive a jean coupon
  • Donations of $250  – You will receive lunch delivered to you at school on your respective cohort day December 9th, December 10th.
  • Donations of $350- You will receive a SOM long sleeve DRI FIT- t-shirt 
  • Donations of $500 or more –  You will be entered in a raffle and guaranteed a chance to win one of our grand prizes!
  • Top Participating Boy/Girl- The top boy and girl with the highest amount of pledge donations will get to choose one of the prizes from the list above prior to the raffle.
  • Top Participating Class - The class with the highest amount of pledge donations will receive an ICE CREAM PARTY!

Jog-A-Thon Poster Contest!

POW, BAM, BOOM..."Calling All Superheroes!"

Superheroes are rare creatures born with extraordinary powers and abilities.  Regular people can also be superheroes, because they make lives better for others!  We challenge our students to draw their best version of a superhero and how this hero would participate in the school Jog-A-Thon.  The more creative, the better!

Official Rules: 

-Students may use an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.

-Any medium may be used (markers, colored pencils, crayons, paint, etc.)

-Your poster should mention: the Superhero theme, date(s) of event, and School of the Madeleine name. 

-On the back of your poster, please print (in pencil): Your name, grade, classroom number.

-The contest is divided 6 groups, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1-2 grade, 3-4 grades, 5-6 grades, and 7-8 grades.

How To Enter: 

-Work on your poster from home and bring to school by: November 2nd (Cohort 1), November 3rd (Cohort 2), or November 4th (Distance Learners)

-Please turn poster in to Office labeled "POSTER CONTEST" OR in designated bin placed by gates for Distance Learners.

-Winners will have their poster displayed on campus and earn a small surprise! ​

  • Thursday, October 22nd - Corporate Sponsorship Form due
  • EXTENDED to November 4th!!! Friday, October 30th - Initial registration cutoff, T-shirt orders due.  You will still be able to register and raise funds for the run after November 5th but won't get the t-shirt.
  • Monday, Nov 2nd and Tuesday Nov 3rd - Poster contest deadline
  • Tuesday, November 3rd - Raise $30,000 by 11/3,  Superhero Accessory day at SOM November 4th and November 5th 
  • Mon, Tues, Wed OR Thur, 11/16-18 - Fundraising Dinner at Sardinia’s! Homework passes!
  • Wednesday, November 18th - Cohort 1 Superhero Jog-A-Thon! 
  • Thursday, November 19th - Cohort 2 Superhero Jog-A-Thon!
  • Friday, December 4th - Final pledge money due!
  • Wednesday, December 9th and Thursday, December 10th - Awards Recognition, Special Lunch (Chic-Fil-A) awards for $250+ donations
