King Car Wash for Kidney Health supporting National Kidney Foundation of Illinois

On Saturday, October 16, King Car Wash will host a fundraising event in support of the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI).
King Car Wash owner Frank Trilla and his family have a personal connection to the fight against kidney disease that began over 35 years ago with John Trilla, Sr. – or “Babe” to those who knew him. Needing a transplant, John didn’t need to look far. His own daughter, Pam, stepped up to provide him with a life-changing gift. Since then, several members of the family have fought – and continue to fight – their own battles with the disease, including Frank, who after surviving COVID-19 is now on a waiting list for a kidney transplant.
Determined to raise awareness for this disease that afflicts 1 in 3 American adults, Frank and the entire Trilla Family ask you to join them in the fight against kidney disease on Saturday, October 16, from 8am-5pm. Give your car the Royal Treatment, learn about the importance of kidney health, and support the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois in the fight against kidney disease!
All proceeds from every car wash service purchased on Saturday will benefit life-changing NKFI programs and services.
Your support helps NKFI provide resources and programs like its KidneyMobile screenings and Living with Kidney Disease & Transplantation to the estimated 1.1 million Illinois residents living with or at risk for developing chronic kidney disease. Additionally, you are helping to fund four different research grants available to medical students, young investigators, fellows, and innovators.
YOU are making a difference and helping NKFI change the face of kidney health in Illinois!
