Camp Sunshine 2026 Road Race

Providing a ray of hope for children with cancer.

Every child deserves a summer filled with laughter and friendship - help me make that possible for kids with cancer!

Children with cancer are normal kids who want to participate fully in the everyday experiences of growing up. In addition to all the year-round programs for children and families, Camp Sunshine provides campers ages 7-18  the opportunity to enjoy traditional summer camp activities, from sports and games to kayaking, arts and crafts, tie-dye, and rock climbing, and so much more! 

Best of all, summer camp - and all of Camp Sunshine's programs - are provided at no cost to families, thanks to the generous donations of so many. 

Each week of camp and before the campers arrive, we volunteers get up at sunrise to run, walk, or saunter down the camp driveway and Keencheefoonee Road for our annual fundraising road race, with the goal of raising the $400,000 to cover the costs for every camper...leaving that much more for our year-round programs. 

Camp Sunshine has been near and dear to my heart for more than half my life - and I would be honored if you would help me support this important organization and it's tremendous mission.
