2026 Lakeside Legacy Walk

Questions about the Lakeside Legacy Walk? Here are a few Frequently Asked.

Q: What time does the event begin?

Participant check-in and same-day registration open at 8:00 AM. The Opening Ceremony begins at 9:00 AM, followed by the Walk. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in, and visiting the Team Gathering Area, vendors, and activity booths before the program begins. If you're walking with a team, be sure to coordinate with your teammates in advance and plan to meet in the designated Team Gathering Area prior to the Opening Ceremony.

Q: Is there a registration fee or fundraising minimum?

There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum. Everyone is welcome to participate!

Q: Can I register at the event or join a team after I've registered?

Yes! Same-day registration is available beginning at 8:00 AM, although we encourage you to register in advance to expedite check-in. You may also create a new team or join an existing team after you've registered by logging into your participant account or contacting the Tidewell Foundation for assistance.

Q: Can I fundraise or donate if I'm not walking?

Absolutely! You can create a fundraising page by registering as a Virtual Walker, or you can make a donation to a participant or team—even if you're unable to attend the Walk.
