Party with a Purpose 2021

I have been going on short term medical missions to Honduras since 1997. I had gone on a mission to Panama With my partner Dr. Bob Smith. I said after that that the Anglican Church could do that. After going to a mission training conference,  I met Suzy McCall, a long term missionary in Honduras, at a mission conference in 1997.  She thought she would never see me again, but I have been going to Honduras to support her since. Suzy's LAMB Institute is a piece of heaven in Honduras. They have a children's home, a day school, an outreach to young people to help them stay out of gangs, loan support for small business, support of university education, food programs and support of home building programs. Our twice yearly mission is to do medical work and help with construction projects.  I am enforced each mission that what little we do makes a difference in the lives of the people of  Honduran people. 

 

As stated above The LAMB Institute has many ministries in Honduras. I have seen over and over again the wonderful work that the ministry does. This year, COVID-19 has created a challenge in raising support.  The needs of the people have increased . The medical system cannot meet the needs of the people. people have not been able to get out and work and do not have enough food to feed their families.  The LAMB Institute is on the ground in Honduras to meet The daily needs of the most vulnerable.
