The EFEPA is thrilled to introduce the Walk Month to Lancaster! Now until October 17, 2020, help us celebrate and honor the strength of our Epilepsy Warriors.
All month long keep the momentum going! Get decked out in purple, track your miles as you walk your neighborhoods and community parks, and take plenty of pictures and videos to share on social media.
Then, On October 17th, join us for the drive-by Purple Pop-Up Party at Clipper Magazine Stadium! Deck out your car in purple, write messages of awareness and encouragement on your windows, drive by and enjoy some jams, see some familiar faces, cheer, shout and celebrate your accomplishments!
While you are there, check out the Epilepsy Warrior Wall to leave a message to honor you or your loved one’s epilepsy journey and complete day-of awareness activities – all from the safety of your car.
We know that these are uncertain times, but we are all in this together. We need our community and your support now more than ever.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those battling epilepsy. Together, we can raise critical awareness and funds. Together, we can shine a light on epilepsy and bring it out of the shadows. Together, we can END EPILEPSY.
You matter in this fight, and together we are stronger.
Please note, the Purple Pop-Up Party will replace the in-person Walk and will take place the same date and time.
By participating in the Walk to END EPILEPSY you are not only uniting with people across the nation but igniting a spark right in your own backyard.
The Walk is non-competitive, family friendly and open to the public. It is designed to be a celebration all while raising critical funds and awareness for the EFEPA and our local epilepsy community.
The Walk to END EPILEPSY is free to register with fundraising strongly encouraged. Join us at Clipper Magazine Stadium in person, participate virtually or do both!
As always, all proceeds will immediately go towards the continuation and expansion of the free programs, resources and support services provided right here in Lancaster.
We walk to build community so that no one feels alone in their diagnosis. We walk so kids can attend Camp Achieve. We walk to raise awareness and build supportive, seizure-safe communities. We Walk to END EPILEPSY.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by epilepsy. Will you join us?
