Love Hope Strength was founded in 2007 on the belief that all people
deserve quality cancer care, a marrow donor if needed, and most
importantly, hope. LHS’s Get On the List Campaign has added to the
national Bone Morrow registries in the US and UK. Proceeds from LHS fund raising hikes and events have resulted in direct donations to cancer clinics in areas of need including Tanzania and Nepal. Dedicated to saving lives one concert at a time, over $1million has been raised to help fund equipment, training and additional support to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable families affected by cancer across the globe.
Health Alliance for Austin Musicians HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for greater Austin’s low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. Many Austin musicians are self-employed and have no access to health insurance or basic healthcare. Since 2005 HAAM has helped over 6,700 musicians to date.
