About Virtual Tour of the Magrath Mansion

Tour Magrath Mansion in support of the Cross Cancer Institute!

In the heart of Edmonton's historic Highlands neighbourhood sits the Magrath Mansion. Built in 1912 by William Magrath, a businessman and real estate developer of the time, this stunning century-old home is opening its doors this holiday season - and you are invited!

Sid and Nellie Braaksma purchased the home in 2000, restoring each room to its original glory. The halls have been professionally decked inside and out, and you will get an all access pass to this historic home, while learning about Sid and Nellie's renovation journey.

Sadly in 2019, Sid passed away from cancer, and the family have made the difficult decision to sell the home

Home owner Nellie Braaksma and family have released a pre-recorded virtual tour of the Magrath Mansion, in support of the Cross Cancer InstituteThis exclusive virtual tour is the last time the family will be showcasing and sharing their adventures at this magnificent property.

Virtual Tour by Donation

The Braaksma family are very pleased to share this virtual tour experience with you, just in time for the holiday season. They do this in memory of Sid Braaksma, family patriarch, his granddaughter Korinda Kostiw, and their uncle Tony Van Orizande, who all received care at the Cross Cancer Institute.

They do have one request; please donate generously, and help them leave a legacy of hope for more moments for patients, and their families, facing cancer.
