Leading the Fight for the Health of all Moms and Babies

I'm excited to be part of this campaign to empower families by supporting them before, during and after pregnancy. We learned firsthand how scary preterm birth and NICU stays can be. March of Dimes helps with research to help keep moms and babies safer and also supports families before, during, and after birth.

The funds I raise will help March of Dimes:

  • invest in cutting-edge research
  • provide local programs like Supportive Pregnancy Care and NICU Family Support®

Thank you for your support. Every donation makes a real difference!

Spreading Gratitude

This year, I have so much to be grateful for, especially my family. On October 21st, Allie and I welcomed our daughter, Hattie, into the world. She arrived nearly two months early and needed to spend some time in the NICU before we could bring her home. Today, I’m deeply thankful that Hattie is now healthy and home with us, and that Allie has also recovered well.

As a first-time father and a concerned husband, navigating the challenges of an emergency surgery, a premature birth, and caring for a recovering wife was overwhelming. However, our time in the hospital and the NICU was made significantly easier thanks to the incredible support programs provided by March of Dimes.

March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies. They fund research, provide educational resources, and support families facing complications like premature birth. Their work makes a meaningful difference for families like ours, offering hope and guidance during some of life’s most challenging moments.

During our NICU stay, one act of kindness from March of Dimes that truly brightened our days was providing a Halloween costume for Hattie and candy for the parents. We had so much fun dressing her up as a little ladybug and sharing her adorable outfit with others. That small gesture brought us joy during an incredibly stressful time. With the holiday season upon us, Allie and I can’t help but think of the families who will spend their holidays in the NICU, and we hope they find moments of comfort and joy, just as we did.
