Leading the Fight for the Health of all Moms and Babies

I recently joined the March of Dimes Board in the Boston Market and attended my first board meeting just last week. To help me celebrate the start of my birthday month, I am asking for a small (or big!) donation to the March of Dimes to support maternal health equity in Boston and beyond.

After dedicating much of the last decade of my professional career to maternal health and closing gaps in health equity, I am excited to continue to serve this passion by joining the Boston market board of March of Dimes. 

I am passionate about March of Dimes mission to improve the health of all moms and babies, regardless of race, gender, wealth, or geography. 

The organization's goals include:

• Ending preventable maternal health risks and deaths
• Ending preventable preterm birth and infant death
• Closing the health equity gap

The March of Dimes works to achieve its mission through:

• Research: Funding research to find solutions to health issues
• Education: Educating consumers and professionals
• Advocacy: Advocating for policy and systems change
• Community engagement: Engaging with communities to build impact
