About STAND for Orphans - Mary Beth Brown
Stand for Orphans is an initiative of Lifeline Children’s Services created for kids by kids to raise awareness around the orphan crisis. Since 2014, kids across the world have been raising funds to help Lifeline share the hope of the gospel with vulnerable children. Initially, Stand took the form of selling baked goods and lemonade during the Summer as a way to give back.
Through hundreds of Stands, over $400,000 has been raised thanks to churches, businesses, matching grants and the desire of kids wanting to make a difference.

Christmas Stand for Orphans Giveaway!
When COVID stopped potential plans for her annual summer Stand for Orphans benefitting Lifeline Children's Services, Mary Beth thought about what she could do later in the year. Though there are many limitations still in place, she has created some special items for a Christmas giveaway, and here is how it will work: For every donation of $5 to Lifeline on Mary Beth's fundraising page, the donor will be entered in a drawing to be held on Saturday, December 5th. The grand prize is a beautifully decorated from scratch vanilla Christmas cake. Mary Beth has perfected her baking skills, and this cake is as delicious as it is attractive. Mary Beth will work with the winner to schedule delivery of this cake on a day of his/her choosing...just in time for your holiday celebration! Additional prizes/drawings include a precious hand painted ornament and 2 beautiful hand painted (watercolor) Christmas cards/blank notes.
Donations of more than $5 can be entered multiple times in $5 increments (eg $25 = 5 entries).
