Join us for the 39th Annual Maine Children’s Cancer Program Fund Walk, powered by Shaw's Supermarkets, at Payson Park for a superhero-filled morning of hope, community, and celebration.

For 39 years, families, friends, survivors, caregivers, and supporters from across Maine have come together to stand beside children battling cancer and blood disorders. This year, we invite you to channel your inner superhero as we celebrate the courage and strength of the incredible kids and families served through MaineHealth Pediatric Cancer Care, Blood Disorders and IV Therapy (formerly Maine Children’s Cancer Program).

Funds raised through the Walk help provide life-saving treatment, compassionate care, research, and family support services for children and families across Maine. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps bring hope to local kids facing unimaginable challenges.

Each year, every Walker will have the option to choose a special beaded necklace—each color representing a personal reason for participating in the Walk.

  • Gold for those impacted by childhood cancer
  • Red for those impacted by a blood disorder
  • Green to show support for the mission of Maine Children’s Cancer Program Fund.
