Run like a Unicorn 2026: Miles For Mick supporting Liv Like A Unicorn

After several trips to the Jersey Shore emergency room, doctors finally performed a CT scan that revealed devastating news — not just one, but seven tumors throughout Mick’s brain and spine. What followed was an incredibly difficult journey filled with chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and countless days of courage far beyond his years.
Today, Mick is still receiving maintenance chemotherapy through August, but he’s also doing what every little boy deserves to do, being active, playful, and carefree. He loves Transformers, running around with his siblings, and soaking up every moment of childhood.
Mick and his family have been supported through all of our programs from financial assistance and our Unicorn Club to our holiday adoption program and they’ve shared in many special moments with us at our events. Their family holds an incredibly special place in our hearts. We are honored to dedicate this year’s race to Mick and his remarkable strength, and proud to call his family part of the Liv Like A Unicorn community forever.
Join us as we run Miles for Mick, celebrating resilience, hope, and the power of community, all while supporting families facing pediatric cancer.
