Move for Meals

Get involved and join our Young Professionals Board.

Among networking, social, and professional development opportunities, Young Professionals Board members serve on the Move for Meals Leadership Committee. 

The Leadership Committee works with Food & Friends to raise sponsorships through their professional and personal networks. Move for Meals expects to raise $100,000 in sponsorships to reach our goal of $200,000 raised.


The role of each Leadership Committee member is to:

Provide leadership for Move for Meals by lending their name as a Food & Friends Ambassador

Targeted outreach and follow-up to help secure event 1-3 sponsorships (target of $1,000-$5,000)

Recruit 3-5 participants or teams for Move for Meals

Participate in the pilot testing of the event platform

Introduce new individual and/or corporate partners to Food & Friends

Commitment—2-3 hours per month to include:

Make a personal and/or corporate sponsorship commitment for Move for Meals

Participate in a 1:1 call with a Food & Friends staff member to develop your targeted prospect list for outreach and follow-up

Monthly prospect review/sponsorship update calls / bi-weekly check-in calls starting in June

Participate in Move for Meals October 1-November 1, 2025
