2024 Move for the Museum Challenge

Lace up your shoes and join Team Thornburg as we "Move for the Museum"! As title sponsors of this event, we are honored to support the important work the Santa Fe Children's Museum does to help children discover the joys of learning, play and community. We're inspired by their diversity, equity, inclusion and access efforts and applaud their work to provide experiential learning to all. We'll move together over the next 36 days to help increase awareness and support for the Museum, while having some healthy fun along the way. Let's get moving, together! Whether you grab friends and family, head out on your own, or team up with people across the country #TogetherApart, logging 36 miles will be FUN and productive! This challenge encourages a healthy lifestyle and brings our community together for a local cause. 100% of the donations will support the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and to ensure the learning doesn't stop for children. Programs such as STEM Virtual Learning, family Grab-and-Go STEAM Kits, feeding hundreds of underserved local families from our garden, and many other enriching experiences for children will be able to continue to thrive with your support of this effort!

The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is based on a simple idea: children learn by doing.  The museum provides an informal environment that fosters connections among children and families, and encourages active participation in the learning process through interactive exhibits and programs. As a site for family outings, children and parents are brought together in the spirit of challenging play.
