Yes, please.  This allows us to communicate updates with you, send prizes and plus it is how you create your own web page so your neighbors/supporters can make their donations online and you receive the credit for your campaign.

How many yards do I have to mow to participate?

You can mow 1, 10 or however many you would like.  We appreciate any support you can offer.  The more you mow, the more donations and prizes you can earn.  We will also have a top fundraising prizes donated by Sam's Club of Bentonville. 1st place is a 65 inch Samsung TV and 2nd place is Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones.

How old do I need to be to participate?

There is no age requirement to participate but you must be 13 or older to have your own fundraising page.  If you are are under 13, please have one of your parents sign up and create the fundraising page for you to use.  Adults are welcome to be volunteer mowers too.

How do I create my fundraising page?

When you register it will automatically prompt you to create your page by clicking a big orange button at the bottom of the last registration screen.  We encourage you to customize your page with a picture and your own story of why you are participating in the event.

Can I share my campaign on social media?

YES!  This is one of the best ways to let others know about your service and how to donate to your campaign.  We encourage you and other family members to share the campaign on all social media platforms.  Make sure you include a link to your personal fundraising page too.

Can someone donate even if they don't need their yard mowed?

YES!  We know some people will hear about your campaign and just want to support your efforts to raise funds for the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter and we appreciate any and all support.

Can I sign up 2 or more kids to participate?

YES!  Every personal fundraising page needs a unique email address OR you can sign up with one email and make the page a family page that all family members can use for fundraising.

How do I find lawns to mow?

Visit our Fundraising Tips page for ideas and make sure you always include your fundraising page link and contact information in any correspondence.

How much should I charge to mow a yard?

We suggest you ask the homeowner to make a donation amount of their choice but you are welcome to set whatever amount you would like on each yard if you prefer.

How do I collect donations?

The easiest way is to provide the link to your personal fundraising page so they can donate directly on that with a credit or debit card.  If they prefer to write a check please have it payable to NWACS and put your name in the memo line and then mail them end at the end of your campaign (there is a place in your personal page to add cash and check donations).  Last option is a Venmo donation at @NWACS and make sure they put your name in the "What's it for?" area.
