The March To Get Screened (MTGS) 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run be held on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.

Important Location Update:
Due to permitting changes in Jacksonville, the location for the 2025 March To Get Screened (MTGS) 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run has been moved. We are excited to announce that this year's event will be held at the Borland Groover Durbin Crossing Office! We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate your understanding of this change.

This is a timed event, with mile markers at every mile. For more information about the event, click here!

Our mission at the Borland Groover Foundation is to build a healthy and equitable community that is free from colon cancer through service, education, and empowerment. We are committed to continue contributing to the fight against this preventable, yet fatal disease. All proceeds from MTGS benefit the Borland Groover Foundation, click here to learn more.

Your support can help:

  • Raise awareness for colorectal cancer.
  • Provide financial aid to cancer patients undergoing treatment.
  • Distribute educational materials to medical facilities, schools, and churches.
  • Provide screening colonoscopy vouchers to the community:
    • Borland Groover provides free colonoscopies for less fortunate patients. 
    • Foundation Funds are forbidden to be used by Borland Groover.

Why Participate?

March To Get Screened is a fun family 5k event that helps bring community awareness to colon cancer. It is held every year on the last Sunday in March in Jacksonville, Florida. With your support, we can continue to raise awareness and help our community learn about the importance of scheduling your colonoscopy screening!
