The orchestra with the highest percentage participation will get an Ice Cream Party! 

Also, all WYSO members who meet their $150 fundraising goal will be entered into a drawing for a new iPad!

Legend of Fundraising: Awarded to the student who raises the highest dollar amount across all five orchestras. One winner will receive a $200 gift card of choice (see options below).


Phenomenon of Fundraising: Awarded to the student who raises the second highest dollar amount across all five orchestras. One winner will receive a $100 gift card of choice (see options below).

Virtuosi of Fundraising: Awarded to one student in each orchestra who raises the most money in the orchestra. Five winners will receive a $50 gift card of choice (see options below).

Rising Stars of Fundraising: Awarded to one student in each orchestra who raises the second most money in the orchestra. Five winners will receive a $25 gift card of choice (see options below).

Choice of Gift Cards: Amazon, Ward-Brodt Music Mall, or Grace Coffee


All donations must be received by April 7 to be eligible for prizes. Members can only win one prize and will receive the highest prize they are eligible for.

Welcome to WYSO's Musical Notes fundraising page!


Musical Notes is WYSO's annual family fundraising campaign! 

The money raised in the Musical Notes fundraiser goes towards all aspects of supporting the WYSO program. Member tuition only makes up 30% of the actual cost of supporting a musician in the program. A total of $150 is asked to be raised by each member, with an overall goal of $70,000. Our participation goal is 100% of WYSO members!


WYSO families can solicit donations from extended family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, local businesses, or anyone else you know. Families can write letters, share social media posts, and share this website! For a sample letter or social media post click here. There are also other ways to contribute such as the Practice-A-Thon, fundraising nights, and our exciting raffle!
