Preparing for tomorrow
As we look forward, a priority for the hospital is to upgrade and equip the nursery to better treat babies who need a more intensive level of care.
That means those babies can stay near their families here in Madison instead of being transferred to Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. What a fantastic gift to keep families together.

A lot has changed in 10 years
If you lived in Madison a decade ago, you know there was next to nothing on that side of Highway 72. We have witnessed tremendous progress and growth in that area in the past decade, all anchored by our beautiful hospital.
Since then, more than 9,100 babies have been delivered, 500,000 have sought emergency care in our ER, and 700 health care heroes enter our doors for work every day.
