Why Participate?

Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. Through awareness events such as the Mystic 10K & Half Marathon, we aim to raise funds to not only normalize the conversation, but provide vital mental health programming to vulnerable populations across the country.

Did You Know...

  • Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people aged 10 to 14 and 25 to 34 in the United States
  • More than half of all counties in the United States have zero practicing psychiatrists
  • First responders are more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty

Be a part of the solution. Lace up your shoes, stretch out those muscles, and come race for a reason!
