Fundraising Information for Teams

This year, our team fundraising minimum is $4,500 for a team of up to 15 players.  The fundraising breaks down to $300 a player.  Reminder that this is a 7 vs. 7 tournament and we do ask that each team has one female player on the field at all times.

The Foundation asks each player for $25 at the time of registration which is counted as your first donation.  Each player will be committing to raising $300 by November 1st at the time of registration. We will be asking you to put your card on file at registration so the balance to get you to $300 can be put on the card if the player does not reach the fundraising minimum by November 1st.  A team surpassing the $4,500 team minimum by the fundraising deadline of November 1st would mean that individual players meeting their $300 minimum would no longer be required.

If a team has less than 15 registered players by November 1st, a staff member will connect with the team captain to discuss ways we can get the team to the fundraising minimum.

We have all the tools you need to easily hit and exceed your fundraising goal and will be there to help you every step of the way.  If you have any questions about the fundraising process, please feel free to reach AnnaMaria amindish@crohnscolitisfoundation.org or 609-457-2750.

Thank You

Thank You to all who participated in the 13th annual A Touch of Football for Crohn's & Colitis event. Together we raised just over $162,000 to support our mission.

The New Jersey Chapter would like to congratulate our 2023 Top Fundraising Team, CHASEing Crohn's led by Ted Roofener.  The team raised over $12,800 to help #TackleIBD!  We would also like to thank our MVP Teams, Crohn's Connection, Stained Bloomers, Strategic Partners, The Gas Passers and The Tight Ends who each raised over $7,500.

Congratulations to our Tournament Champions, Team Crohn's Connection!  We hope your team will be back in 2023 to defend your title!

About the Foundation

The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life for children and adults affected by these chronic diseases through research, awareness, education and advocacy. 1 in 100 Americans currently are afflicted by these diseases for which there is currently no cure.

For over 50 years the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation has supported critical research, investing almost $500 million toward finding cures and better treatment options. We are proud to recognize that the Foundation has been involved in every major breakthrough in IBD research.
