Consider volunteering at one of the EFEPA's upcoming opportunities below:
EFEPA Button Making - Want to be a part of EFEPA history, and help spread epilepsy awareness at the same time, from the comfort of home? Join us and fellow members of our local epilepsy community in the first-ever Community Arts Button Making Campaign! We'll be pressing hundreds of EFEPA Buttons that will feature YOUR original artwork! These buttons will be used as 'Thank You' gifts for donors and community partners, giveaways for EFEPA events, and more - all featuring the creativity and dedication of our local epilepsy warriors, advocates, and champions!

Annual Appeal Mailer - Each year we appeal to our service region and local community to inform them of crucial epilepsy programs and services offered by the EFEPA, and to shine a light on members of our community in a letter that is mailed out to constituents. In this letter, we urge the community to donate if able, and support our epilepsy efforts financially. We're looking for volunteers to help us assemble and send out ~5,000 paper letters in our Philadelphia office (919 Walnut St. Ste 700, Philadelphia 19107) from Monday, November 6th to Thursday, November 9th from 10 am to 3 pm each day. We'll be folding letters, stuffing envelopes with a remittance envelope, sealing, posting, and sending them out in the mail same day. If interested and able to assist, please email the Camp & Community Outreach Coordinator, Andrew, at achmielowiec@efepa.org.
Northeast PA Bowl-A-Thon – Our NEPA team is back at it with the annual Strike Out Epilepsy Bowl-A-Thon at Chacko's Family Bowling Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The event, to take place on Sunday, November 12, from 3-5 pm is looking for volunteers to help us set up, sell raffle tickets, manage the information table, and take pictures of the event.
Interested in attending and supporting this event as a bowler? For more information, you can reach out to our Northeast Region Resource Coordinator, Mary Loughlin, at epilepsyWV@efepa.org.
