NSEF - Giving Tuesday

NSEF Grant Highlight - Operation Snow Fun

Meet Mia, Elise and Maia from White River Elementary! Last year NSEF awarded these ambitious grant writers $1,500 for their project, Operation Snow Fun. These girls prepared a presentation and requested a NSEF grant to support their idea of a winter gear check out system that would be available for any student at White River to utilize. These girls were passionate about making sure each student had the appropriate attire so they could play outside for recess during the winter months. This is just one example of what our NSEF dollars go towards.

"My name is Megan Thomas and I am the social worker at White River Elementary School. Last year I had the privilege to work with 3 very passionate students on a project called Operation Snow Fun. NSEF was instrumental in helping that project grow and come to life and making it bigger than the girls could ever expect. They were also instrumental in helping the girls see themselves as problem solvers, leaders and change makers. Thank you NSEF for all that you do and for supporting students and their ideas in making our community and our schools better."

TOGETHER WE GIVE

In 2020 our teachers, nurses and other school staff have worked tirelessly to support our students. Let's take this opportunity on Giving Tuesday to give back to them through the Education Foundation. Join us in celebrating and investing in our school community through scholarships, classroom grants and other district initiatives. We love our Noblesville Millers and we know you do too.

What is the best way to support NSEF? You can donate to our Giving Tuesday campaign AND you can share this page to your personal social media to spread the word and engage more of our Noblesville community. Use our hashtag #MillersGiveBack
