Thank you for supporting our military heroes and their families!
Since 1941, around the world and right here at home, the USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation.
The greater Los Angeles area provides USO services, programming and outreach to current members of the military and their families at six centers and dozens of military installations across 51,000 square miles in Southern and Central California, from San Luis Obispo to the San Diego County Line. We operate centers at Ontario International Airport, John Wayne Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Palm Springs International Airport, Military Entrance Processing Station Los Angeles and at the March ARB Joint Deployment Center.
Locally, the serves more than 260,000 troops each year through volunteer support at our USO Centers. We support service members from the very first day they are in uniform until the very last, from worldwide deployments to round the world family moves, even in the midst of tragedies. Our volunteers ensure that our troops feel the appreciation of grateful Americans, every day of the year. Investing in the USO is a chance for you to have an enduring and meaningful impact on our military’s strength and effectiveness— and on the lives of our courageous service men and women. Show our service members that they are in our hearts and minds and that we will never stop standing by them. Join the 'Force Behind the Forces" and support by making a donation today!
The USO is not part of the federal government. A congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of connection.
The USO at Ontario International Airport opened in Fall of 2006 to support and serve the large number of troops deploying from the Inland Empire community. The center is open 365 days a year with the support of its USO volunteers. Each year, the USO center at Ontario International Airport supports the month-long ITX trainings in the region, providing over 1,000 service instances on any given day. USO volunteers lead the community outreach programs and support remote bases like Fort Irwin, MCLB Barstow, and March Air Reserve Base. All their services are provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors, and with the support of the Ontario and Inland Empire communities.
