At Memorial High School, we believe that true courage is rooted in faith. This year, our GRANTED Over the Edge team proudly honors two remarkable Memorial graduates, Sam and Sophie Schulz, whose lives reflect unwavering faith, extraordinary courage, and enduring hope.

Sam and Sophie have inspired Memorial students, faculty, coaches, teammates, alumni, and our entire school community through the joy they share, the strength they embody, and their unwavering trust in God's Providence. Their example reminds us that true courage is not the absence of challenges, but the willingness to face each day with faith, hope, and love.

As a Holy Cross school, we are called to educate hearts and minds while forming compassionate servant leaders. Inspired by Sam and Sophie, we strive to live out Memorial's Core Values each day—living with integrity, pursuing excellence, serving others with zeal, practicing self-discipline, strengthening our Memorial family, and answering Christ's call to service.

Every dollar raised through GRANTED helps make life-changing wishes come true for local children and their families. As we defend our Over the Edge title, we dedicate our efforts to honoring Sam and Sophie by sharing the hope they have so generously given to others.
