Fundraising 101
100% of the proceeds from Our Colors Run Together provides resources for local cancer survivors such as:
- financial assistance through the Cancer Patient Assistance Program that helps with rent/mortgage and utilities
- rides to oncology-related doctor appointments with ChemoCars
- Wigs, classes, counseling, group activities and so much more at the Cancer Survivorship Center - everything is FREE!
Encourage your team members to raise money to help local cancer survivors! Show them the way by being a top fundraiser yourself and helping them set up their personal fundraising page. Every team member receives a personal fundraising page and has the capability to correspond with supporters through email. We suggest adding a link to your fundraising page on your business email signature line and social network sites.
Online vs. Offline Fundraising
An online donation is made by credit card through your team or personal fundraising page. These gifts, if made on your behalf, automatically update your fundraising total.
An offline donation is made when a donor makes a gift by cash or check. In order for your team to receive credit for these donations. you must turn them in to the HCHF office in person or by mail. Please note the participant and/or team name.

In-Person - Encourage your team members to also solicit donations in person and share stories to motivate giving. See information above regarding how to turn in offline donations (cash and checks).
