SEPTEMBER 30 -- INDIANAPOLIS
To the survivors who inspire us, the Race Against Melanoma is a time to celebrate life.
To families gathering in support of loved ones, the race is a time to create memories.
To generous sponsors, the race is a time to engage with the skin cancer community.
Join us September 30 for a delightful evening that signals hope to those living with skin cancer.
For nearly 20 years Outrun the Sun has been Indiana’s only nonprofit organization solely focused on supporting skin cancer education and melanoma research. We work with individuals and organizations here at home, while also partnering with national leaders in melanoma research. We do this because people living with melanoma deserve the strongest, most robust teams working on their behalf. THANK YOU for being part of the Outrun the Sun team!

9,500 Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer every day. Additionally, 560 people are diagnosed with melanoma daily. Outrun the Sun supports melanoma research at top medical institutions throughout the United States. We are honored to support 29 Melanoma Research Scholars who actively seek a cure for melanoma. Funding also supports educational programs that help prevent skin cancer altogether. THANK YOU for your generous support! Learn more about the Outrun the Sun Melanoma Research Scholars HERE.
In addition to funding melanoma research, race proceeds support Outrun the Sun’s ongoing educational community partnerships. These include programs with Girl Scout councils, youth camps and schools across America. For a complete overview of Outrun the Sun’s programs, please visit our web site at www.outrunthesun.org. These initiatives would not be possible without your support of the Race Against Melanoma!
