About Parade of Pink

Get ready for Alissa's Hope's first ever walk celebrating survivors, warriors and all of our supportive friends!

Join us October 21st at South County Center at 12pm for our first ever Parade of Pink. This walk will begin in the mall and travel through the parking lot ending at the Cruisin Lindbergh Car Show. Both of these events benefit Alissa's Hope, a local, 100% volunteer organization raising money to create grants to help cover the gaps in insurance for cancer patients, providing means to update machines and equipment to improve patient care, as well as providing comfort items to patients receiving treatments at our local hospitals.

Put on your pink and grab your friends for this fun celebration. Prizes will be given for biggest team, largest fundraising donation and best dressed. There will be fun giveaways and raffles available.

The proceeds raised at the events on the 21st will go towards funding our Young Women's Breast Cancer Grants. This grant program provides women under 45 with diagnostic mammograms, biopsies and surgical consults at several hospitals in the St. Louis area.

Alissa, the charity's founder is a 23 year breast cancer survivor and was diagnosed at the age of 17. Alissa's Hope has been raising money to help give back to the community for the last 13 years through various fundraisers and partnerships with local businesses.
