Peachtree Ridge High School Band strives to ensure every student has the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial circumstances, while upholding the excellence that sets our program apart. Through fundraising and community partnerships, we create opportunities for students to succeed and inspire pride, connection, and a lifelong appreciation for music and the performing arts.
Serving Others in Tangible Ways
This season, we’re launching our Meals to Missions fundraiser—a hands-on opportunity for our band family and supporters to serve others. Together, we’ll pack 10,000 nutritious, shelf-stable meals to families facing food insecurity.
- A portion of these meals will support families in our area through the North Gwinnett Co-op, helping address food insecurity close to home by empowering the community to help people fight hunger and build a pathway to self-sufficiency.
- The remaining meals will be distributed to impoverished communities in Ghana, serving small villages, schools, and orphanages.
This hands‑on packing experience allows our students and families to see the direct impact of their efforts—transforming generosity into action.
Beyond the Meals: Investing in our Students
While every meal packed makes a real difference for families experiencing hunger, this campaign also strengthens Peachtree Ridge Band from within by providing new equipment and instruments, as well as band scholarships for students who need financial assistance. This investment opens opportunities for students and continues our commitment to excellence as a band and individuals
