Get creative and dress to impress! Pets (and their people) are invited to show off their most adorable, funniest, or most original looks in our Pet Costume Contest. Whether it’s cute, clever, or completely over-the-top, we can’t wait to see the creativity on display. Prizes and bragging rights await—so start planning those outfits!
🧒 Kids’ Scavenger Hunt Fun
Bring the whole family—Pet Walk has something special just for kids! We’re excited to offer a Kid-Friendly Scavenger Hunt that’s fun, interactive, and perfect for young animal lovers.
Kids can explore the event and search for everything listed on their scavenger hunt card. Once they complete the hunt, they’ll earn a ticket good for one free admission to Highland Recreation Complex—a fun reward for a job well done!
This activity is a great way for kids to stay engaged, explore Pet Walk, and enjoy a little adventure along the way.
🎨 Face Painting Fun
Add a splash of color to your Pet Walk experience! Stop by our face painting station, hosted by one of our fantastic event vendors. Whether kids want butterflies, paw prints, or bold designs, it’s a fun way to get into the Pet Walk spirit and take home a colorful memory of the day.
🌮 Fuel Up with Food Trucks
All that walking and fun works up an appetite! Pet Walk will feature a variety of food trucks serving up delicious eats and treats throughout the event. Grab a bite, relax, and refuel before jumping back into the fun. Vendor details coming soon!
💦 Doggy Splash Zone
Dogs deserve fun too! We’ll have kiddie pools available for pups to cool off, splash around, and enjoy a little playtime. It’s the perfect spot for four-legged participants to beat the heat and make a few new furry friends.
🎤 Music, Energy & Entertainment
Keep the excitement going with our Pet Walk emcees and DJ! They’ll be bringing the energy, sharing announcements, hyping up the crowd, and keeping the vibes fun and upbeat throughout the event.
