I have seen firsthand what it takes to be a caregiver. The physical, mental and even spiritual toll it can have on one's life at times. My mother was the chosen sibling to provide care for her parents. I'll never forget our calls and her need for compassion and a "break". While this work is also rewarding by knowing you are providing the security and love your loved one's need, it can be hard. Once I learned more about the services and initiatives David's Refuge provides, I knew it was an org I had to get behind. It's an answer to a prayer my mother didn't have but it can be an answer for someone else.
