About Walk a Mile

Amongst an unprecedented mental health crisis, suicide has become the number one cause of death for teenagers & young adults. To help our community understand the complexities our youth are facing in today's society, we ask our coaches, students, families and extended network every year to "walk a mile in their shoes" to provide awareness of this relentless crisis. We are asking for your support by joining our cause to provide much-needed funding to provide life-changing and life-saving mentor coaching services to at-risk youth across the country.

How Does It Work

For every mile you run, walk, bike, row, hike or swim the month of June, we are asking that you fundraise $10 per mile of movement.  Wherever, however you practice movement - you can be improving your life and saving the life of another!

Set intention: Decide how many miles of movement you'd like to accomplish the month of June.

Set Your Fundraising Goal: $10 per 1 Mile of Movement

Why Participate

When you make a gift to Positive Presence Foundation, you're joining a community that's on the front lines of the fight to eradicate teenage suicide as an alternative to stress management, securing a future for the next generation to learn, grow and thrive. Your donation will help provide life-changing mentor coaching services for those who are not able to obtain them due to their extenuating life circumstances.
